MATERIAL ALS DESIGN IMPULS
The material-appropriate use of materials and processing technologies is a decisive factor in the design process. In the project series “Material as a Design Impulse”, which has been running continuously since 2009, the focus is on the experimental examination of annually changing materials. In close cooperation with industrial partners, materials and manufacturing processes are researched as a starting point for design development and examined for their potential for designing furniture and room products.
